FIRST LOOK AT THE 2015 Hyundai Genesis Hyundai Surrey

2015 Hyundai Genesis
First Look

The inside is trimmed in real aluminum, leather and wood, arrayed horizontally and matching the elegant outside perfectly. No one is likely to complain about this ride's elegance factor.

Specs
Under the elongated hood there is the same 333-hp 3.8-liter V6 or 429-hp 5.0-liter V8 driving the rear wheels. A little aft of those is ZF's superbly smooth eight-speed Shiftronic automatic. The new model also comes with an optional HTRAC all-wheel drive, which transfers torque to the front wheels via an electronically controlled multiplate clutch.

New Features
There are some new technological upgrades like automatic braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot detection and a host of other luxo features -- including a CO2 sensor for the interior to see if you're breathing out too much carbon dioxide -- the coming Genesis is worthy of spearheading Hyundai's new aim of including more premium luxury in its lineup.

Google Glass
It will be one of the first vehicles with Google Glass integration. Hyundai does it again with it's innovation; there will be a new blue link infotainment system that allows this. Check back soon for more information on this feature.

"As a leader in connected car technology, we're always exploring new ways to use
technology to enhance the ownershipexperience for our customers. Wearables are a
great way to extend the experience outside of the vehicle by leveraging these small
screens to quickly access remote features and deliver timely vehicle information."

- Barry Ratzlaff, the executive director of Customer Connect and Service Business Development for Hyundai.
